Ordering & files
It all happens online in four steps: upload your model in our quote tool, pick material, colour and quantity, fill in your details and submit. You get a price estimate on screen straight away, then our print operator reviews the model and emails you a guaranteed quote within 1–2 business days. The order only becomes binding once you approve that quote. There is also a step-by-step guide.
We accept STL, 3MF and OBJ, up to 100 MB per file. STL is analysed straight in your browser, so you get a preview and a price estimate immediately. 3MF and OBJ are uploaded for manual review and priced once we have looked at the file. Not sure how to export an STL? See our guide to STL export.
The preview is drawn with WebGL — your browser's 3D graphics — and that switches off when hardware acceleration is disabled. In Chrome and Edge you enable it under Settings → System → “Use graphics acceleration when available” and then restart the browser. In Firefox it lives under Settings → General → Performance, and in Safari under Develop → “Enable WebGL”. You can order as usual in the meantime: the dimensions, weight and price estimate in our quote tool are calculated from the file itself and are unaffected by the missing image. We also review every model by hand before you get your quote, so a file that looks right to us gets printed right. If you see an empty box instead of this message, an old graphics driver may be the cause — get in touch and we will check the file for you.
Yes. Upload the file and we will tell you right away whether it can be printed as it is. Plenty of models need small fixes first — a watertight mesh, the right scale, or walls thick enough to survive — and that is what our review catches and helps you with. We always get in touch before printing if something needs changing.
No. You need no slicer and no printer settings — we handle layer height, supports and infill. If you do want control, there are four quality levels plus advanced settings in the quote tool, but the default Balanced setting suits most parts. Read more about what a slicer actually does.
In most CAD programs you pick Export or Save as and choose STL. Export in millimetres, at a resolution high enough to keep curves smooth, and make sure the mesh is watertight. We walk through the settings for Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender and Tinkercad in our guide to STL export.
We review every model by hand before printing and get in touch if we spot problems — holes in the mesh, walls that are too thin, floating geometry, or detail that simply cannot be built. Minor issues we usually fix for you. For anything bigger we suggest a change and send an updated quote before starting. You never pay for a print we already know will fail. Yes. If all you have is a sketch, a measurement or a broken part, we can draw the 3D model for you — see our services for design and product development. Send a description or a photo through the contact form and we will come back with a proposal, a timeline and a price for the design work.
Yes. We print parts up to 250 × 250 × 250 mm in one piece, and handle anything larger by splitting the model into sections and bonding them afterwards — often with seams that are barely visible on the finished part. Upload your model and we will tell you whether it needs splitting and where we suggest the seam goes. Read more about bonding and finishing.
You can order a single piece. The minimum order value is SEK 100, and every order carries a fixed SEK 50 setup fee covering preparation and rigging the printer. That is why the price per part usually drops when you print several on the same order — see our quantity discounts.
Pricing & discounts
The price is calculated from your actual model — material used, print time, chosen material and quantity — not from a fixed price list. Upload your file for an on-screen price estimate, followed by a guaranteed quote by email within 1–2 business days. The minimum order value is SEK 100. The estimate is generated automatically when you upload your file and gives you a quick sense of the level — it comes from an automated analysis of the model. The quote you receive by email within 1–2 business days has been reviewed by a print operator, and that price is guaranteed. If the quote differs from the estimate we always explain why, and it is your call whether to proceed. Upload your model to see the estimate, or read more about what affects the price.
Four things drive most of it: how much material the part uses, how long it takes to print, which material you choose, and how many copies you order. Parts with lower infill cost less than solid ones, and geometry that needs a lot of support material costs more. We cover it all in our article on what affects the price.
Yes, and it is applied automatically: 10 % from 5 pieces, 15 % from 10, 20 % from 25 and 25 % from 50. It applies to the whole order line and updates live in the estimate as you change the quantity in the quote tool. If you need larger runs than that, get in touch and we will look at it separately.
Prices are shown including 25 % Swedish VAT by default, with the VAT amount always broken out on its own line. Business customers can switch to totals excluding VAT — the setting lives under your account and is remembered for next time. Payment is handled separately from production, and you can follow both order and payment status in your order overview.
The price in the quote we email is guaranteed — we do not change it after the fact. The order only becomes binding when you approve the quote, so you can decline at no cost. If you want to change material, quantity or model after the quote has gone out, we simply issue a new quote based on the new details. The full terms are in our terms of purchase.
Delivery & tracking
Expect two stages: the quote is emailed within 1–2 business days of your upload, and once you approve it the part is printed and shipped — usually within 3–7 business days depending on size, material and the current queue. If you have a deadline, put it in the message field when you request a quote and we will tell you straight away whether we can make it.
We ship tracked with PostNord, and shipping is free on orders above SEK 1,000. Below that a shipping fee applies according to the current rates, and it is shown on your quote before you approve anything — no charges appear after the fact. Once the parcel ships you can follow it on our tracking page.
Yes. You get a tracking number when the parcel leaves us, and you can follow it on our tracking page using either your eight-character order number or the carrier's tracking number. With an account you can see all your orders and their status under My orders.
Yes. The whole order happens online and we ship tracked anywhere in Sweden with PostNord — you never need to visit us in person. The price depends on your model and material, not on where you live. See for example 3D printing in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö.
We do not have a fixed express service, but we often reshuffle the queue where we can. Put your deadline in the message field when you request a quote and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable — and happily suggest a faster material or a lower quality level if that gets the part to you in time.
Materials & colours
We print in PLA, PETG, ASA, TPU (flexible), PC (polycarbonate) and nylon as PA and PPA — several of them also carbon-fibre reinforced. The full range with every colour is browsable on our materials page. We do not use ABS; if you need ABS-like properties, ASA is the better and more dimensionally stable choice.
No — we do not print in metal, we work with thermoplastics using FDM. For parts that need to be genuinely stiff and durable there are strong alternatives, though: carbon-fibre reinforced PPA, PC and nylon handle far more than standard plastic. No — we run FDM, where molten filament is built up layer by layer. We do not offer resin (SLA) or powder-based SLS. For most functional parts, prototypes and spare parts, FDM is both stronger and cheaper; we compare the technologies in FDM vs SLA vs SLS.
Start from where the part will live. PLA for prototypes, models and indoor decorative pieces. PETG when it needs to handle heat, moisture and impact. ASA for outdoors and sunlight. TPU when it should be soft and flexible. PC and nylon for mechanically loaded parts. Not sure? PLA is stiffer, cheaper and gives the finest surface finish — ideal for prototypes and parts that stay indoors. PETG handles heat, moisture and impact considerably better, which makes it the choice for parts that see real use, outdoors or in a car. PLA already starts to soften around 55–60 °C. It depends which kind of strength you mean. Carbon-fibre reinforced PPA and PC have the highest tensile strength and heat resistance, while nylon best survives repeated impact and flexing without cracking. But design often matters more than material — wall thickness, infill and how the part is oriented in the printer. We cover it in which material is strongest.
Yes — the range covers a large number of colours, and you pick yours directly in the quote tool once you have chosen a material, since availability varies between materials. Every colour we hold in stock is listed on our materials page. If you need a specific shade or an exact colour match, get in touch and we will see what we can source.
If the part will sit outdoors or in sunlight, ASA is the right choice — it handles UV and weather without turning brittle, unlike PLA which yellows and cracks. For heat, PETG copes with roughly 70–80 °C, while PC and ASA go higher. PLA starts softening at 55–60 °C, which makes it a poor fit for a car in summer. A standard print holds water for a while but is not pressure-tight — water eventually works its way out between the layers. Thicker walls, higher infill and the right material (PETG over PLA) get you a long way, and sealing or lacquering does the rest. We explain it in Is 3D printed PLA waterproof?.
We do not sell prints as food safe. The filaments we use are REACH and RoHS compliant, but an FDM print has microscopic grooves between the layers where bacteria can collect, and we cannot guarantee a food-safe process. For single use or dry contact it is usually fine — for anything that will be washed and reused, we do not recommend it. Describe the use case when you request a quote and we will tell you what is suitable.
Quality & post-processing
Expect roughly ±0.3 mm on smaller parts under normal conditions, though it varies with geometry, material and orientation. Holes typically come out slightly undersized and external dimensions slightly oversized. If two parts must fit together, design in clearance: around 0.2 mm for a sliding fit and 0.4–0.5 mm for a loose one. Details in our guide to tolerances and fits.
Yes. Coarse threads can be printed directly, but for anything that will be screwed in and out repeatedly, brass heat-set inserts last far longer — and we can fit them for you. The alternatives are tapping the thread afterwards or capturing a standard nut in the design. We cover when to pick which in threads in 3D prints.
Overhangs steeper than roughly 45° need support material, and the surface is a little rough where the support touched. We place supports so the marks land on the least visible surfaces, and can sand them back on request. If one surface has to be flawless, say so when you request a quote and we will orient the part accordingly. More in our guide to support material.
Yes — we can sand, bond, prime and paint, as well as fit heat-set inserts and threads. It is especially common on parts printed in several pieces to get around the build volume. Describe the finish you want when you request a quote and we will price the work. See what is possible in our guide to post-processing.
You pick between four levels in the quote tool: Prototype (fastest and cheapest), Balanced (default), High (finer surface) and Extreme (maximum detail). A lower layer height gives a smoother surface but longer print time and therefore a higher price. If you want to set layer height, infill and nozzle exactly, the advanced settings are one click away.
Privacy & terms
Your model stays yours. We use the file only to calculate a price and print your order; we never pass it on, and we do not sell or publish customer models. Files we no longer need are cleared out on an ongoing basis. If you want a model deleted immediately after delivery, just say so. Read more in our privacy policy.
Yes, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you send anything over. Email your agreement through the contact form and we will come back to you quickly. We treat all customer models as confidential even without one, but for many companies it is a formal requirement before material can leave the building.
3D prints are made specifically for you, and under Swedish distance-selling law there is no right of withdrawal on custom-made goods. For standard products that are not customised you have 14 days to withdraw, and you cover the return shipping. The full terms are in our terms of purchase.
If the fault is ours — a failed print, the wrong material, or dimensions that do not match the approved model — we redo it at no cost. If the parcel is damaged in transit, send us a photo and we will sort it out. If a model we approved together turns out to have a design flaw, we will help you get it right and give you a fair price on the reprint. Reach us via our contact page.
Both. The same process, the same prices and the same quality whether you are a private customer with a broken part at home or a company that needs a run of prototypes. Business customers can display prices excluding VAT and keep their orders together under their account. We handle everything from hobby projects to prototype runs and spare parts.
